Terms of Use

The short version

1. About these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and [legal name of the business], [registered or business address] ("we", "us") for using the Family Postbox and Family Postbox: Send apps. By using either app you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.

2. The apps

Family Postbox is a delivery service. Our servers hold each photo or video only until everyone you sent it to has received it, and for no more than 14 days. If someone doesn't collect it in that time, it won't reach them, though you can send it again. Delivered items are kept in the Family Postbox app on the recipient's device. Family Postbox is not a backup or cloud storage service, so please keep your own copies of anything that matters to you.

3. Your account and devices

4. Subscriptions and the free month

Price

Family Postbox: Send costs £2.99 a month or £24.99 a year in the UK, including VAT. Prices in other countries are shown in the App Store or Google Play before you subscribe. Family Postbox, the receiving app, is always free.

Payment, renewal and cancelling

Refunds

Because Apple and Google take payment, refunds are handled by them under their policies. You can request one through the App Store or Google Play. This doesn't affect your legal rights as a consumer, including if the service isn't as described.

Moving phone

A subscription belongs to one Family Postbox: Send account at a time. If you change phone or reinstall the app, use "Restore purchases" with the same Apple Account or Google account to move it across. Each sender needs their own subscription: one subscription can't be shared between several senders.

5. What you send

6. Rules for using Family Postbox

Don't use Family Postbox to:

We may suspend or end access for anyone who breaks these rules, and remove what they've sent from our servers. Where it's reasonable, we'll explain why first.

10. App Store and Google Play

If you got either app from the App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. These terms are between you and us, not Apple; Apple isn't responsible for the apps or for supporting them, and has the right to enforce these terms as a third-party beneficiary. If you got them from Google Play, Google Play's terms also apply to your purchase.
